We seek an experienced and passionate Practice Accountant to join our growing team.
This role is ideal for a talented and motivated individual who can seamlessly integrate and contribute from day one. While we offer comprehensive support within our team, applicants should possess strong existing accounting knowledge and practical experience. This position is not structured as a training role for entry-level candidates.
This position requires the successful applicant to be based in and legally eligible to work within the United Kingdom. We are committed to fostering our local talent pool and are not considering applications for outsourced roles or from candidates residing outside the UK.

Who you are:
· MUST be a qualified accountant, AAT level 4
· MUST have a minimum of 2 years experience in practice or industry
· MUST be very experienced in reviewing & finalising annual accounts
· MUST be very experienced in reviewing & finalising self-assessments
· Strong attention to detail
· Proficient in Excel
· FreeAgent, Xero & Quickbooks experience desirable
· Self-starter with strong initiative
· MUST live & work in the UK
What You'll Do:
· Accounts preparation and finalisation for Limited Companies, Sole Traders and partnerships
· Training and supervising junior staff and reviewing their work
· Corporate, Personal and Partnership Tax Computations and Returns
· Completing CPD requirements
· Completing Money Laundering and GDPR requirements
· Undertake any other duties, as requested
· Dealing with HMRC
